Collect a Dream (CaD) created its value guide exclusively for our buyers and sellers. Collect a Dream monitors and records the sales and owners of low serial-numbered sports cards that have sold on the secondary market. Our information is compiled from completed eBay sales or via the Collect a Dream dealers’ network. This network is comprised of well-respected sports card dealers throughout the country. These dealers report to Collect a Dream the sale price of a specified card that has been sold in their store or at a sports card show.

The value of this list for sports card collectors is priceless. It provides the consumer with actual secondary market sale prices of high-end sports cards that are difficult to find in any monthly price guide.

If you are interested in purchasing a specific card on the list, Collect a Dream can help. All you need do is press the select button. We will be notified and you will be sent a conformation email. Note: Most collectors will not sell their item for below or at their purchase price. Therefore, Collect a Dream recommends buyers add a minimum 20% seller’s premium to the listed price. Collect a Dream will contact the owner of the card notifying them of a possible buyer. This process is at no cost or obligation to you. Note: If a seller wishes to place a card that is on the price list for sale on the Collect a Dream website, if present, the card and price will be removed from the price list.

How to use the Collect a Dream Value Guide:

  • Cards are listed and separated in order of the quantity produced (e.g.: 1/1, 1/5, 1/10).

Simply look for the quantity you desire, then…

Search for the player you want (e.g.: Babe Ruth).

If Collect a Dream has received information about the player and quantity in which you are interested, the card brand, type, year and final sale price will be listed.

Sports cards sold on eBay:

In the “price sold” column, two acronyms are utilized for those cards that have been listed on eBay.

DNS (Did Not Sell):
This signifies the item was not sold for the seller’s asking price. The seller’s unsuccessful “Buy it Now” price is listed under the acronym “DNS”.
RNM (Reserve Not Met):

This signifies that the auction’s reserve was not met. The highest bid amount is listed under the acronym “RNM”.

Collect a Dream strives to keep its buyers and sellers informed about the constantly changing sports card market. Collect a Dream prides itself on maintaining accurate, up-to-date secondary market sports card sales. Note: Although Collect a Dream meticulously researches the final sale prices recorded in the price list, actual final sale prices cannot be guaranteed. The price list will be continuously updated so that our customers will be able to analyze current market trends.

If you have any questions regarding how to use the price list, or if you have a sports card sale you would like to report, please contact info@collectadream.com via the Collect a Dream website. Collect a Dream hopes you find this tool useful in collecting your dream!
